Montessori
By The Sea has a low student-to-teacher ratio with a limited number of spaces
available; therefore, all tuition and fees reserve your child’s
position, and remain the same regardless of any leaves of absences. Please
find following fees and tuition for Montessori By The Sea for the 2007/2008
school year. We would
like to remind you that you are contractually obligated for tuition for the
entire school year, from September 2007 through June 2008, regardless of your
child’s actual attendance. Although
our tuition is an annual one, we offer semi-annual and monthly tuition
payment options. Please be
advised that tuition and fees are re-evaluated on a yearly basis; therefore,
it may be necessary (at the beginning of a new school year) to increase
tuition and fees due to the increased cost of living and operational
expenses, and in order to maintain a high caliber program. Fees: Application
Fee: The first step in the application
process requires a one-time, non-refundable Application Fee of CI$150.00. This fee includes an informative book
on the Montessori philosophy as well as administrative expenses. This fee should be handed in with your
child’s ‘Application for Admissions’. Enrollment
Fee: Once your child has been accepted
into Montessori By The Sea, you will be sent an ‘Enrollment
Contract’. Along with the
contract, you will be required to pay an annual, non-refundable enrollment
fee of CI$125.00, which is due along with the submission of the
‘Enrollment Contract’. Enrichment
Programs Fee: This non-refundable, yearly fee of
CI$300.00 ensures Montessori By The Sea’s continual commitment to
excellence. These fees are used
for maintenance, replacement and expansion of available educational materials,
as well as specialty programs that enhance the total development of the
child. The Enrichment Programs
fee is due by June 13, 2007 for students currently enrolled at Montessori By
The Sea. (This fee is due along with the submission of the ‘Enrollment
Contract’ for new students of Montessori By The Sea). Parent’
Teacher Association Fee: This fee of CI$50.00 per family,
goes directly to Montessori By The Sea’s Parent Teacher Association in
order to provide extra-curricular activities for the students, to use as
‘seed money’ for fundraisers, to support worthy causes in the
community and to show appreciation to the teachers and staff. This fee is due by February 8, 2007
for students currently enrolled at Montessori By The Sea. (For new students, this fee is due
along with the submission of your child’s ‘Enrollment
Contract’). Please make
checks payable to ‘MBTS Parent’s Guild’. Elementary
Book Fee: The CI$175.00 per year, per child, fee
is applicable to children enrolled in the Elementary class, and goes toward
the many purpose-made, individualized books that your child will use during
the school year, all school supplies (pencils, paper, markers, Duo-Tangs,
etc.) and French writing books.
This fee is payable by June 13, 2007 for students currently enrolled
at Montessori By The Sea. (For
new students, this fee is due along with the submission of your child’s
‘Enrollment Contract’). Late
Fees: Tuition is due on the first of
every month. For every day after
the 5th of the month, there will be a CI$25.00 per day late charge
fee. Returned Check Fees: There is a
C.I.$25.00 fee for returned checks. Late Pick-Up Fees: Pick-up time for the After School
Program is 5:00 p.m. Parents will
be charged C.I.$10.00 for every ten minutes after this time, until 5:30 p.m.,
and C.I.$5.00 for each minute thereafter as it goes into teacher's
personal time. This will be due
to the teacher at the time of pick-up. Tuition
